The Digital UV Printing technique, also known as UV printing, works on the same principle as the printer. It is out in practice by transferring a shape to the fabric with the dotting system thanks to the 3D illustrations technology. As the name suggests, Digital UV printing has a system in which UV lights are essential. After each spot is filled with paint, the UV lights integrated into the machine provide instant drying of the solvent-based paint. In this way, the colors are fixed. In other words, UV is a technique by transferring the liquid dye to the fabric’s surface.

Sublimation printing is based on the same principle as UV digital printing. However, sublimation printing and UV printing show specific differences. These differences originated from the used technique, product life span, used fabric type.

Sublimation means directly turning a solid into a gas without turning it into a liquid. That is, the dye used evaporates without becoming solid and adheres to the pores in the fabric. This means that the dye does not transfer to the fabric surface but penetrates. As a result, the paint becomes a part of the fabric. For this reason, it is almost impossible to separate dye from the fabric. Therefore, sublimation print resists fades and breaks. The sublimation technique increases the printed product life span. The fabric can be ironed and folded. One of the most significant advantages of sublimation is that not affected by heat and bending.

We recommend sublimation printing, although we do both sublimation printing and digital UV printing in our constitution, as we find conveying accurate information is crucial.
