As COVID-19 began to spreadaround the globe, most in-person events, exhibitions, meetings were cancelled. For sign and display business, which rely on tradeshows and conferences andmostly on in-person daily practices, this was meaning limited usage of displaymaterials.

Unlike other industries, as ORES, we took an action and with demand for new types of displaysfor social distancing and personal hygiene and safety equipment. We were able to create a new line of products to serve our customers and save&growtheir businesses in COVID-19 period.

At the start of thepandemic, most companies very quickly adapted to employees working from home inline with the ‘Stay at home’ calls. For us here at Ores, we continued to workthrough the pandemic and like many others, we held meetings in an onlineenvironment. Together with our clients, we worked through this new virtualexperience together and came up with new and innovative ways to ensure ourclient still gets the best possible service from us.

Hand disinfection,social distancing and personal protection has become the norm and is essentialto help prevent further outbreaks of this virus. The health and safety ofemployees, visitors and customers is paramount for any business. The provisionof hand disinfection stations in high traffic areas such as receptions, lobbiesand communal offices has become a must for any organization, as is the use offace masks. In restaurants, groups of people will be gathering and will need tobe safely separated from other groups in order for these establishments toopen, and in offices employees will need to be protected with the use of screenguards on desks to help reduce the risk of infection whilst ensuring businesscan return. Retail spaces will also be looking at providing a protectivebarrier between staff and the public so everyone can feel confident going outand returning to their daily lives.

The next period willbe full of unknowns for all of us and it may be a while yet before we return tothe world we used to know.
